About the Institute

The Executive Leadership Institute is a fully sponsored training and technical assistance event that will provide adaptive leadership skills to State child welfare directors and two members of their leadership teams. It is full of opportunities to learn from world-class leadership experts, connect with child welfare professionals from across the nation and develop targeted leadership strategies for today’s challenging times.

The National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement (NRCOI) will fully sponsor the child welfare director and two of his or her senior deputies for this leadership event.  All 50 States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have been invited to register three senior leaders for the Institute.  However, there may be an opportunity for some States to bring even more senior staff.  After the initial registration deadline of March 31, the NRCOI will reallocate any unregistered Institute slots among the States that have already registered.
